About

Controls-focused technologist with real commissioning experience.

I am an Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology student at Red River College Polytechnic, in my final semester and graduating December 2026. I recently finished a controls co-op commissioning building automation systems on live BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU networks. Before that, I built and tested 100+ industrial control panels as an electrical technician, so I know controls from the wire-and-terminal level up to the program-and-network level.

My lab and project work centres on Allen-Bradley CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, PID/PIDE loop tuning, ISA-18.2 alarm design, and 4–20 mA instrumentation. Two years of computer science at the University of Manitoba added Python, data analysis, and machine learning, skills I apply to predictive maintenance and SCADA-style data visualization.

  • Programmed closed-loop control logic, PID loops, setpoint scheduling, and interlocks, from the Engineer's Sequence of Operation narratives across several commercial building projects.
  • Commissioned 150+ controllers for air handlers, pumps, motors, and boilers on live BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU/TCP networks, verifying each against its control narrative.
  • Calibrated analog field sensors and transmitters, and troubleshot faults end to end, isolating whether the issue was in the logic, the network, or the wiring.
  • Produced control drawings covering control wiring, field device installation, panel layouts, and terminations.
